Chances are that it has been a while since you took your written driving test. Even after years or decades of driving, it is natural to forget some of those traffic rules that we studied so hard to remember. Make the resolution this year to brush up on everyday traffic laws that you may have forgotten. Some of the traffic laws that many people forget include appropriate use of the left lane, how a four-way stop works, and what to do in the case of flashing red or yellow traffic lights.
Avoid Road Rage
Getting stuck in traffic is incredibly frustrating, but this year don’t let it turn into road rage. Leave wiggle room in your timing when you plan your commute and be courteous of other drivers. When you get cut off or stuck behind a slow driver in the fast lane, don’t become aggressive and ignore the desire to scream at them as you pass.
Keep Your Car Clean
You rely on your car to get you where you need to be every day, why not show it a little love. Wash and wax your car on a regular basis to keep it looking shiny. And don’t forget about the interior. Keep your car clutter-free this year by cleaning it out every week and remember to wipe down the dashboard when you wash your car.
