Outstanding service and great mechanics – the shuttle to take me to work and pick me up is really great. Solves all sorts of problems getting a ride to and from. Everyone is very friendly and very professional.
Excellent customer care. Very reasonable prices. Work is done correctly, quickly, and at agreed price. No reason to go anywhere else.
Fast reliable great work they even have a shuttle to take you home and pick you up.
The staff at University Auto repair were very good to me. They found a part that is really hard to get on my 2001 Dodge Ram Van. And I live in my van and they let me stay in my home on wheels while we waited for the part to come in. It took 2 months for the repair to finally get accomplished. They were comforting when I was having my own breakdown while my vehicle was broken down. They have a shuttle that was very helpful to me and the location is safe and in walking distance to a lot of restaurants and grocery stores and other places like that. Everyone that I asked for help, helped me and I appreciate everything everyone there did to get me back on the road.
University Auto goes the extra mile when servicing a vehicle. A lot of mechanics will simply repair what the customer asks for, but University Auto takes the time to check the vehicle and identify problems that may be small now but could eventually become much more expensive. I really appreciate the care and initiative they take to make sure the car is working properly and that I am aware of any potential issues. The 3-year warranty also gives me peace of mind and shows that they stand behind their work. Recently, they completed five repairs on my vehicle, and they were still able to get the car finished by the end of the day. These were not small repairs, so I really appreciated how hard they worked to get everything taken care of. Josh is also an amazing customer representative. He is genuine and sincere, and that makes a big difference when you are dealing with vehicle repairs. Having someone who communicates well and genuinely cares about the customer makes the entire experience much easier.
Had electrical problems traveling from Kingman to Flagstaff for my B-Day. Had no idea where to stop to have it checked out! Read the reviews for University Auto Repair. Was I lucky! Exceptionally great customer service! Very professional! Diagnosed, repaired and back on the road within a few hours! A special thanks to Libby!
Traveling from New Mexico we needed an oil change. Further inspection showed badly worn brakes. Since we were traveling leaving the car in the shop was going to be a huge inconvenience but they provided a loaner car for the weekend. Car was ready Monday afternoon as promised. Over the course of this repair we ran into several unusual obstacles that the folks at University helped work out. Picking up the vehicle they explained the 3 year national warranty that gave us additional peace of mind. A potentially horrible experience was made very bearable by the entire staff especially the ladies (Jamie?) at the front desk.
Pricing was fair. Service was fast. They seemed honest.
Stopped in with an issue with my F150 while up from Phoenix and these guys fit my truck in for a check up and took care of me. Cannot recommend them enough, they even topped off my fluids while I was in. Great service, great price, and friendly people.
The people that work there are nice but the service is discombobulating and not communicated well between staff. I do not appreciate being told one thing and something else happening instead. I got stuck somewhere for 4 hours yesterday due to bad communication and false statements and reassurances. Also, if you have a coupon someone brings in, it would be nice to explain to the customer that there will be fees added to the coupon price and what they are, just to ensure people know ahead of time. I expect tax, however if you have a disposal fee, why not include that in the coupon and say the full price in the end so it’s not a surprise. Just a thought. Unfortunately waiting 4 hours for an oil change when was assured it would be max 2, was too long and due to bad communication, I don’t feel like I would want to try and come back, which is unfortunate. I was excited at the idea of finding a new mechanic I enjoyed. I do wish this business the best. I’m sure people do love them; it is just not something I would come back to.
